I’m a Scottish journalist and presenter based in London.
I specialise in social-first documentary storytelling that centres people, subcultures, and politics — giving subjects time and space to tell their own stories, often in contentious or misunderstood worlds.
I made midform documentaries for PoliticsJOE for four years, on everything from far-right rallies to a university for porn stars, achieving millions of views in the process.
I have appeared on BBC Newsnight, LBC, Radio 4, The Chase, and written for the Guardian, the New Statesman, and Dispatch. I was also a host on the PoliticsJOE podcast, the third biggest news podcast in the UK.
In a total handbrake turn, I also like writing comedic articles about pop culture issues like the Traitors and Vogue’s boyfriend article.
I am currently working on England Weekend Television, an independent YouTube documentary channel, and developing podcast projects.
